1. Sit on a low bench and grip the edge. Support your weight through your arms and shoulders and walk your legs forward so that your thighs are parallel to the floor and your feet are flat.

2. Inhale as you lower your body until your upper arms are almost horizontal.

3. Exhale as you drive yourself up to the start position, contracting the muscles in the back of your arms.

Variations

• Put your feet on another bench.

• Increase the resistance further by placing a medicine ball or weight plate on your lap.
